  This is a wonderful song to listen to as you are "traveling on" down a long country road. The beautiful, ethereal but driving piano melody can be somewhat repetitious like the road itself. But the music gives you a warm, intimate, feel good experience as it melodically and rhythmically propels you along down the musical road.

  This is what I would call heavenly music and so dreamlike in its beauty. This piece, especially the childlike sound at the end, conjures up in me beautiful memories of long ago and far away. When I first heard this music I listened intently a few times trying to figure out the lyrics. I soon realized that what I was listening to really wasn't about lyrics but about the intonation of voices to produce beautiful vocal music for its own sake. What Adiemus really sings are not lyrics but just the sound and flow of the voices as they change in pitch and timbre. These singers are like a choir of angels singing from the heavens communicating to a world without regards to any language except the language of pure beautiful sound. As for the orchestra, it complements the singing perfectly.
